The point of the suit is to be well rounded so there are no inherent weaknesses
Just a damn shame that people call that OP when using niche suits, they have this weird idea they should be untouchable ninjas or invulnerable brick walls when the jack of all trades is what makes up the backbone of any army

You mean logis? Well thats simple, with a logistics suit you can build yourself a lightning bruiser instead of a jack of all trades due to the higher number of slots and PG and CPU available while not really sacrificing anything which is the problem
Now balancing this out is a problem since a logistics player will need to keep up with the team if they are healing and resupplying and they need some survivability and need to be able to defend themselves when things get hot so if you change them to much you cripple the suit If only we had a test server we could try small tweaks here and there without throwing the entire game into chaos but CCP wont set one up for some bassackwards reason

Yes, you can use kincats, but u don't think there's a single assault that even has biotics 1.
I maxed biotics, it completely negates the downside to a few armor plates on my suit

I've seen so many threads against the logis, mostly the slayer ones, then the heavies, mostly the ones running light weapons, and then the scouts and their dampening abilities. Its just seems like every fix isn't creating better balance, it's reigning every role to be back to assault standards.
Ive only really seen other heavies complaining about heavies with light weapons, the same old BS of if you dont do it my way you arent a real heavy Havent seen anyone complain about scouts actually but I imagine anyone complaining about their dampening is someone who relies on scanners all the time Granted I dont spend nearly as much time on the boards as I used to
All I can really say as a primary assault player is that I do want the other suits to excel in their niche but I think CCP itself is having a hard time deciding what that niche should be and how to effectively implement it since if you look at the suits right now they seem to be going in two different directions IE heavy weapons options being either up close and personal anti infantry or the blap gun being the only somewhat effective man portable AV
Anyway rambling, TLDR Scrubs will complain about everything and anyone that does something different from what they do and scouts and heavies need another round at the drawing board to better define them instead of half assing a bit of this and that
